If you’ve not yet sorted your Monday evening yet then keep it free for a lovely little Blues Jam night at Matt and Phred’s.

The resident Blues band, fronted by the fantastic Franny Eubank, will jam the night away blasting some of the best tracks inspired by legends including John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Etta James, Little Walter, Leadbelly and Aretha Franklin.

Clampdown presents - 'Odyssey Sessions' - #2 | Stage and Radio | Tue 4 Jun | 7pm - 10.30pm

It’s the first Tuesday of the month which means Odyssey Sessions is back at Stage and Radio.

Clampdown Promotion is set to transform the Northern Quarter into the hottest spot this side of the Mississippi for a free entry jazz and blues bash.

With the likes of Harry Moon & The Cardboard Rocket, Maya Blandy and The Viridian Trio on the lineup, this sure is shaping up to be a good way to kick off the week.

Manchester Poetry Library has announced an exciting new exhibition launch, Landscapes of Change, taking place this Wednesday.

All about bringing together poetry and science to explore the impact of the climate emergency, this new exhibition features films, poetry across multiple languages, and even some special activities for the little ones.

Swing by Feel Good Club to kick off the weekend with a special open mic night dedicated to queer-identifying performers. The monthly night includes a diverse range of acts ranging from spoken word and live music to comedy and more.

The lovely lot at the Old Abbey Tap House are back with a banging little night brought to you by special guests, John Paynter AKA head honcho of Paisley Dark Records, and Imaginarium resident, Roya Brehl.

Boogie from the sunset through to the early hours with John and Roya being supported by the Kibosh residents fresh from their sizzling Carlton Club exploits.
