From Ducie Street Warehouse’s Superbia Cinema to a powerful pop-up exhibition over at Moda Gardens – we’ve most definitely sorted you for the best (and kind to your wallet) events happening all over Manchester this week.
A brilliant opportunity to take a look at a bunch of local Mancunian talent, head to Moda this Thursday for an incredible mid-week pop-up exhibition to see some cracking art from creatives all over the city.
For music, art and creative networking galore – this is both a great way to support the indie art scene and, who knows, you could even stumble upon your new favourite small artist.
Returning to its legendary spot at Salford’s Peel Park this weekend is the long-awaited Pink Picnic – Salford’s annual LGBT+ pride.
Championing grassroots organisations, community and diversity – The Pink Picnic is sure to be a good one.
From live entertainment, phenomenal drag performances, killer DJs, powerful speeches and a whole host of indie food & drink vendors – what’s not to love?
Spoiling you with yet another cracking free event this week is Ducie Street Warehouse again – setting up your Saturday with Footwork & Fancy.
A DJ set that can take you through happy hour all the way to the early hours of the next morning – be sure to expect some stellar disco, house, garage and all the rest to get the dance floor pumping.
Coming to the beautiful vistas of Alexandra Park this Saturday is the incredible Caribbean & African Health Network’s celebration of Windrush Day 2022.
A pivotal day for the community, Windrush Day marks the arrival of nearly one thousand members of our community from the Caribbean in 1942.
An entire afternoon of celebrations and commemorations, this is a great opportunity to experience the diverse nature of history through songs, food, clothes, art, performances, poems, and interviews alike.
