All “Mini Cini” screenings revolve around the celebration of queer filmmaking and talented LGBTQ+ creatives, and this month’s theme is Otherness so prepare yourself for back-to-back screenings of four fantastic queer short films: Tease, Diva, Other Half, and Anywhere is a Dancefloor.

Coming to the beautiful vistas of Alexandra Park this Saturday is the incredible Caribbean & African Health Network’s celebration of Windrush Day 2022.

A pivotal day for the community, Windrush Day marks the arrival of nearly one thousand members of our community from the Caribbean in 1942.

An entire afternoon of celebrations and commemorations, this is a great opportunity to experience the diverse nature of history through songs, food, clothes, art, performances, poems, and interviews alike.
