Fancy a free doughnut this Friday? Look no further! Foodhub, one of the UK’s leading food ordering apps, is giving new students the tasty opportunity to grab a free doughnut. For one day only, students at four selected universities will be able to chomp down on the super sweet treat for no cost, as the Foodhub doughnut truck will be rolling into campus to hand out the delicious dessert to this year’s latest freshers – and Salford University is one of them!
As breakdown cover provider, Green Flag, turns 50 this year – they are celebrating the occasion by offering fish and chips for everyone in three locations across the UK for absolutely free – and Manchester is one of them! The brilliant giveaway comes after a new study by Green Flag that reveals that over two-thirds of Mancunians voted fish and chips as the most British dish, beating a full English breakfast and a Sunday Roast to the post. However, as with any freebie – people will need to get down there quick, as it’s first come first served.
