While the past few months have been tough on all of us, those less fortunate need our help more than ever, so we’ve created a guide of Manchester charities that you can support in the New Year.
Manchester Mind are a group that dedicate themselves to looking out for people who are struggling with their mental health. Every single one of us has needed help with our own heads at some point, but if we’re lucky, our friends and family are there to support us. Sadly there are those less fortunate that don’t have anyone to support them. Manchester Mind have become that somebody and help to support better mental health for everyone.
Mustard Tree are an organisation that aim to transform the lives of those in Greater Manchester who are trapped in poverty homelessness by giving them the skills and connections they need to succeed. In their shop, they sell clothes and furniture, as well as having a computer area where they teach CV writing IT skills. This amazing organisation will be vital in the coming weeks and months and any donation you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Emmeline’s Pantry are a charity run by women, for women in need. They help women and their families by helping them to access the things they need most, including food, toiletries, baby equipment and clothes. This year has seen a dramatic increase of service users and they need our help, so any donation would make the world of difference to a family that could really do with a helping hand.
Humans MCR are a charity that focus on helping families in Manchester tackle food insecurity and aim to allow everyone the opportunity to access good nutritious food. However they can only do so with the help of our donations, so any help you can give to them would mean a tremendous amount to them and the families they are feeding.

Lifeshare is a voluntary organisation that support the needs of homeless and vulnerable people in Manchester and Salford by offering emergency accommodation and helping them off of the street and into initiatives that carry their lives forward. This year, with unemployment growing and more people to care for, they need our help more than ever to support those who are most vulnerable.
