The evening will include music, literature, poetry and chats – raising money for the charity initiative Masks for Scotland as it aims to provide crucial PPE for frontline workers. Manchester venue Band On The Wall may have closed its doors for the moment but they’ve been digging deep into their archives to pick out some of their favourite live recordings from gigs gone by. Every Friday evening at 7pm, there will be a full gig broadcast ‘as live’ for you to watch along to. This week, audiences will be treated to a pre-recorded vibe-heavy performance from afrobeat legend Femi Kuti and the Positive Force, captured during an African music festival curated by the venue back in 2012. If you happen to miss this, there’s another chance to view the gig in the midweek repeats which air every following Wednesday afternoon at 2pm – the latest to catch is a set from Brazilian musician Marcos Valle.
