Royal Albert Hall’s Home sessions continue this week with a range of artists streaming for your viewing pleasure. The line-up this week includes Norwegian singer-songwriter Emilie Nicholas (Thursday 20 August) known for her jazz-inspired vocals and electronic sound. Something for all the family on Saturday 22 August – David Walliams will be reading extracts from his series of children’s books in the afternoon from 2pm. The sublime Sofar Sounds invites you to their Listening Room – with a mix of artists from around the globe playing sets from their homes. This week includes duo Boyish live from Boston (Monday 17 August) and Spanish artist Eva Mcbel (Wednesday 19 August) who is current recording her first EP. After having to cancel their summer tour, fans of Little Mix thought they’d missed their chance to see the super girl-group – but this Friday 21 August, Meerkat Music have something special lined up. In association with music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins, Aleksandr and Sergei present Little Mix, Uncancelled! Streaming from the company’s YouTube channel from 8pm – viewers are in for a treat. Influential 80s synth-pop duo Vince Clarke and Andy Bell aka Erasure bring us their latest album The Neon this week. The record has already spawned single Nerves Of Steel released earlier this month.
