The Friends Of The Miners Fundraiser – Online Music & Comedy Show | Fri 27 Nov | 8pm

The Miners Working Class Mens Club was a social space on a working class estate in North Manchester before it was closed and neglected. Then, a small collective of artists and musicians got the chance to revamp the building and transform it into a centre for the community, providing a place for people to socialise, bands to rehearse and artists to exhibit their work – in addition to offering essential housing aid for the community, including a volunteer-run Food Bank.

In order to raise funds to continue its development, this Friday 27 November from 8pm there will be a special online show of music and comedy, featuring lots of local talent and friends of the project (see below for the line-up).
