Preston’s live music venue The Ferret continues its series of behind-closed-doors performances this week. This Thursday 11 February sees ‘modern throwback’ band Design Rewind and singer-songwriter Shannon Alice on the bill. Head to Zoom this Saturday 13 February for a very special music tour. From New Manchester Walks, the Magnificent Manchester Music Coach Tour will explore the legendary shrines and sites celebrated in song around the city – and you’ll hear the great tunes they inspired along the way. Taking place over Zoom, you can enjoy the journey from the comfort of your own home from 2pm. The tour will be around 1 hour 30 minutes and virtual tickets are priced at £8.50.

Formed in Manchester back in 2012, The Mamosians present a Valentine’s Day Live Stream Special this Sunday 14 February. Bridging the worlds of Dance and Dub music, the group give us a sound they call ‘Alternative EDM’. The stream will be taking place from 8pm over on Facebook Live. In partnership with Manchester Chamber Concerts Society, one of the UK’s best loved pianists Martin Roscoe brings us a livestream performance from Manchester’s Stoller Hall this Tuesday 9 February. This solo gig will feature a range of classical music including pieces by Mozart, Schubert and Beethoven. To watch, you’ll need to purchase a virtual ticket which are priced at £5 and £25 with proceeds going towards Help Musicians.
