Musikfest 2020 goes virtual this year with a full week of online concert streams and fundraising for charity. Over 80 performers including KT Tunstall, Igor and The Red Elvises, Hollis Brown and more are taking part and there will be a chance to donate to support the free festival and the live music scene. Viewing is free and there will be a link for each day to watch from 5pm, which you can also access later if you miss anything. Rebellion Punk Music Festival has pulled together a collection of special content to bring you Rebellion Online 2020. After reaching out to as many bands as possible, they will present sets from Peter And The Test Tube Babies, The Sinclairs, Headstone Horrors and more. Over four days (Thursday 6 – Sunday 9 August) there will be a mix of content including full band performances, acoustic clips, bands in rehearsal rooms, performances over Zoom, promo videos, interviews and documentaries. Available to view via the festival’s Facebook page – things will kick off from around 11.45am each day, but all content will stay up for you to view at your leisure. Mike Skinner and his band The Streets perform a special club performance on Thursday 6 August from Hackney’s EartH at 9pm. This pay-per-view livestream event sees The Streets play an intimate venue for the first time in years. To celebrate the release of the latest record None Of Us Are Getting Out Of This Alive – this exclusive performance is not to be missed. A virtual ticket is required to view and these start at £15.00.
