Glastonbury | Thu 25 - Sun 28 Jun | BBC Two, BBC Four, BBC iplayer

This coming weekend, festival goers and some massive acts were due to descend onto the legendary Worthy Farm in Somerset to celebrate Glastonbury’s 50th anniversary. Alas COVID-19 had other plans and like many other festivals the event had to be cancelled. In its place, the BBC will be broadcasting some classic performances from past artists including Beyonce, Adele, Coldplay, David Bowie and more.

Hosted by Clara Amfo, Edith Bowman, Jo Whiley, Lauren Laverne and Mark Radcliffe there will be four days of programming across the BBC – including three 90-minute programmes on BBC Two on Friday 26, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June. These will feature full performances from Arctic Monkeys, Blur, Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse, The Rolling Stones and more.

Over on BBC Four you can catch some of the most memorable acoustic performances from Glastonbury’s past – including Ed Sheeran, Kano and Patti Smith. You’ll also be able to listen to archive performances on BBC iPlayer, across BBC radio stations and on the BBC Sounds app. Things will kick off at 10pm on Thursday 25 June over on BBC Four.
