Ticketmaster UK continues its Homecoming series with a variety of talent this week featuring Australian pop group Cub Sport (Monday 27 July), English musician Alex Francis (Friday 31 July) and, hailing from Finland – singer-songwriter Tomi Saario (Saturday 1 August). Expect special performances and chats, plus the chance to raise money for some amazing charities including Music Venue Trust, Help Musicians, Cancer Research UK and Crew Nation. Big Scary Monsters Virtual Pop Up | All Week | From 4pm | via Website

After having to close their Brighton pop-up early in March, the team at independent label Big Scary Monsters present a week-long virtual event – and you’re all invited. From Monday 27 July – Sunday 2 August there will be free-to-view performances, talks, plus all the usual goodies. Test pressings, colour variants, rarities and exclusive merch will all be available. Due to appear are Kevin Devine, The Get Up Kids, Cultdreams, We Were Promised Jetpacks, Chris Farren plus many more.

The event will be fundraising for Black Minds Matter UK and the #SaveOurVenues campaign from the Music Venues Trust. Viewers will be able to donate on the in-store screen or pick up one of the exclusive t-shirts. All the profits from the shirts will be split equally between the two charities. Dermot Kennedy – Some Summer Night at The Natural History Museum | Thu 30 Jul | 9pm | via virtual ticket £13.50+

Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy performs an exclusive live show from the Natural History Museum in London on Thursday 30 July. Some Summer Night is a one-off event featuring Dermot & his full live band plus a special guest appearance from Paul Mescal (Normal People). With no audience in attendance – the stream will be available to watch by fans from around the world. You can gain access by purchasing a virtual ticket which start at £13.50. The Parish venue in Huddersfield kicks off their Empty Venue Sessions with Manchester punks Aerial Salad. On Saturday 1 August from 7:30pm, the band will be playing their latest album Dirt Mall in full, live from The Parish Youtube channel. If there’s time, fans may also be treated to a few of Aerial Salad’s classic tracks from the Roach-era. Be sure to check out Parish TV’s Facebook page for more acts to come.

The team behind Chicago’s Lollapalooza Festival present a weekend-long virtual event – Lolla2020. Despite the current pandemic, there will be performances from around the city and beyond, including special sets from the archives. To commemorate Lollapalooza, viewers will be treated to some rare footage from back in the 1990s plus loads more surprises. Times are still to be announced – but you’ll be able to watch all the action over on the official Lollapalooza Youtube channel.
