It’s quite a rare occasion when French house and techno legend, Laurent Garnier is in town. And this time, he’s playing twice. Friday night he’s playing the closing slot on the Concourse at Mayfield Depot for Peggy Gou. Saturday, WHP are putting him on all night long down in the Pink Room at YES. Brazilian disco icon, Marcos Valle is easily one of the most prominent musicians in the country’s history. Famed for his effortlessly funky pop, he’s collaborated with Sergio Mendes, Frank Sinatra and Ali Shaheed Mohammed over his 60+ year career. What’s more, he’s joined by local legend, Luke Una who’ll be DJing before and after the show.
After announcing collaborative EP, 060 on AD 93, Avalon Emerson and Anunaku have announced a mini-tour, stopping at Amsterdam, Barcelona and London as well as Manchester’s White Hotel.
