Here’s our pick of the best club nights over the next few weeks.
This collaboration sees two new solo projects from bass selectors colecta and Rosabella team up to bring some heavy hitting headliners to Soup this Saturday – Bristol’s Low End Activist brings grime, dubstep, jungle and much more while Ghost Phone is known its r’n’b and rap, which have taken it as far as Panorama Bar and New York. They’re joined by afro-house and UK funky DJ, SHEwillprovide’s Oriki.
Manchester’s Zed Bias has been at the forefront of the UK sound for over 20 years. Join the veteran producer and DJ for an all-night-long session in the Yes basement, where he’ll no doubt stretch his legs in all directions – expect cutting-edge sounds from across the board as well plenty of classics. Zed takes no prisoners when it comes to keeping any crowd happy.
After the gutting closure of Old Abbey Taphouse, this jungle, hardcore and drum’n’bass night sees label Braniac founder Sweetly and promoters Tunnel team up to invite Manchester all-rounder Metrodome for a headline set – which usually sees the selector running riddims alongside curveballs from the most unexpected of places. First 100 tickets are free, just make sure to reserve yourself one now on the link below.
The DBA’s in-house trance night is back, this time inviting London based DJ, producer and set designer Angel D’lite for a headline set alongside Tranceform regulars Trance Pennine Express and sebastieN. Angel is known for her tastefully bubblegum take on HI NRG, exuding a nostalgic euphoria with every selection whenever she spins. Making debuts are Malvadonna and Nadz.

The elusive producer Forest Drive West is known for his inch-perfect ambient-techno – but don’t expect tripped-out business all night. His release on R&S spoke to 160+ jungle and breakbeat, which usually feature heavily in his sets, and there’s also a host of bass provocation in the shape of Bristol’s Danielle and Pessimist. The trio are joined by Kop-Z and play the night after in Glasgow at the Flying Duck.
