Louise Young brings her debut tour to Cultplex, Charlotte Cropper’s award-winning Slumber Party has a sleepover at Fairfield Social Club and Ray Badran headlines XS Malarkey.
There’s no better time to have a Slumber Party than the night before a Bank Holiday, so join the Charlotte Cropper for her award-winning evening of gags, gossip and guests. This month’s is a ‘Sports Day’ special and features rising star Kathy Rivett and sketch impressarios Tarot as well as your host Cropper and Beth Moore taking us through another impassioned rant about her favourite films. It’s fast becoming an institution of the Manchester comedy scene, so grab your jammies and head on down.
Geordie rising star Louise Young brings her debut UK tour to Manchester this Easter Saturday. A show about class, chaos and coming out, Feral is Young’s look at a working-class upbringing and what that means in the modern world. That Young was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2023, and this will be her first tour shows that class is still a huge factor in beginning a career in comedy, but with her talent, she’ll no doubt continue to smash through ceilings.

Australian comic Ray Badran is the latest to make their XS Malarkey debut. A brash and brilliantly funny Aussie, now based in London, Badran has a lot to say about the culture shock of moving to this miserable isle to make people laugh. Joining Ray is XS’s usual host of excellent comics, including Edy Hurst, Tasha Clusky and Jimmy Shirley and host Toby Hadoke. The best Tuesday night in town.
