Josh Glanc, Marcel Lucont and a mystery headliner are at XS Malarkey and the Women In Comedy Festival continues apace with the likes of Molly McGuinness and Anna Thomas.

Josh Glanc and Marcel Lucont at XS Malarkey | Tue 8 Oct | 7pm | £3/6

It was only a couple of weeks ago that XS Malarkey celebrated their birthday with a huge show and they’ve already topped that lineup with a three-hander featuring Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Josh Glanc, Marcel Lucont and a mystery headliner.

Any one of those three would make it a must-see (we trust in XS so much that we’d class a mystery headliner as a banker!), so to have all three at one show is downright madness. Tickets won’t last long.

Anna Thomas at Fierce Bar | Fri 11 Oct | 7pm | £3-7

The Women In Comedy Festival continues this week with shows from the likes of Rachel Fairburn, Laura Lexx, Jain Edwards, Freya Parker and loads more. You should certainly check out the full lineup of shows here, but if you’re on the lookout for something a little more abstract do take a chance on Anna Thomas’ new work-in-progress show Release The Fleas. The BBC New Comedy Award winner mixes hilarious whimsy and the mundane and spins it into comedy gold.

Molly McGuinness at Creatures | Sun 13 Oct | 2.30pm | £6

More Women In Comedy Festival to end your week with some late afternoon laughs courtesy of Molly McGuinness and her work-in-progress show Slob. A show about Meat Loaf, working in a sex shop and more recently being in a coma delivered with McGuinness’ engrossing deadpan tone the show takes loads of twists and turns. A terrific and unique performer who prides herself on her laziness, she’s about to be very busy.
