Nina Gilligan works up some new stuff with friends, The Frog hosts a Funny Women semi-final, and Phil Chapman is back for more at Creatures.
Phil Chapman has long been a favourite of comedy club goers up and down the country. His compering skills are unsurpassed, with countless hilarious reels to prove the point, but he’s now breaking out from the shackles of asking an audience what they do for a living. Figures, his second tour show, is his best yet, and this extra show, added due to demand, is a must-see for comedy fans.
As those brave souls up at the Edinburgh Fringe present their finished work, those who are taking the year off are already working up new stuff. Nina Gilligan has invited some of her friends to show and tell their new ideas to a welcome and warm crowd on a Sunday evening. A real treat.

In its 22 years of operation, the Funny Women Awards has seen winners such as Jayde Adams, Katherine Ryan, London Hughes, Desiree Birch and Lara Ricote. This semi-final features 12 performers who hope to go on to similar levels of fame, and you can see them at the very beginning of that journey.
