Phil Wang brings his new tour show “Wang In There Baby” to The Lowry, Steve Bugeja headlines a phenomenal lineup at XS Malarkey and there’s more Comedy For Hot People at The Fitzgerald.
Forever the most exciting and, we’ll say it, sexiest night of stand-up in town, Comedy For Hot People returns to their home of The Fitzgerald for another night that is just as welcoming to ‘uggos’ as it is to ‘hotties’. It’s also an absolute bargain as they operate off a pay as you feel policy and though you should obviously always pay as much as you can (and with the lineups they pull in you really should), they’re sympathetic to those smokeshows that might not be remunerated properly for how truly hot they are.
Hot off the heels of his critically-acclaimed Netflix special, David Letterman appearance, and role on Life & Beth with Amy Schumer, Phil Wang is bringing a brand new stand-up show to The Lowry this Sunday. If you know Wang, you’ll be familiar with his brilliant routines on race, family and the state of the modern world in his own inimitable style, all tied together with delightful puns on his own name.

Fresh off the back of writing and starring in the second series of a sitcom with Iain Smith (Buffering on ITV) Steve Bugeja is back on stage treading the boards of Manchester where he initially cut his teeth. Bugeja is a master of the overshare and presents his life as the most awkward, delightful and most cringeworthy of RomComs, so we’re delighted he’s headlining at XS Malarkey this week. He leads a stellar lineup that also includes Tatty Macleod, Rhiannon Shaw, Jessie Nixon and Steph Bradshaw.
