John-Luke Roberts returns to 53Two with his annual night of festive carousing hosted by the “great poot” Geoffrey Chaucer as XS Malarkey get all Christmassy with a double outing. Roberts is the mad king of alternative comedy, and this now-yearly tradition brings out his most avant-garde flourishes coupled with an incredible use of language, both ye olde and new. He’ll be joined by Rob Kemp, Freya Parker, Edy Hurst and Bec Hill to bring Chaucer’s Christmas time to life.
