Sofie Hagen brings a combined book/stand-up tour to Contact, there’s a cracking double bill at XS Malarkey and Catherine Bohart is at The Frog with Again, With Feelings.
Catherine Bohart returns to The Frog with her latest show Again, With Feelings. The critically-acclaimed comic is reckoning with death-obsessed parents, queer reproduction and how adulthood, frankly, isn’t living up to her expectations. A rising star with a sizeable amount of TV credits under her belt, Bohart is on the cusp of superstardom so get down to The Frog to see her in such a space while you can.
A double bill of sorts as Sofie Hagen brings her new touring stand-up show to Contact as well as her new book tour to Contact this Saturday night. The stand-up show is called Bang Lord whereas the book goes by the slightly more restrained Will I Ever Have Sex Again? and both explore Sofie’s self-imposed celibacy. Come laugh at the stand-up, participate in the Q&A about Will I Ever Have Sex Again? and feel free to go to the book signing afterwards. Sofie is never less than a joy and revels in taking on big and deeply personal topics that other comics wouldn’t dare with heart and hilarity.

XS Malarkey’s fine preview season continues apace with another great double bill featuring Sara Barron and Hannah Platt. Barron is an American-born, British-based Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee who is always asking big questions and getting hilarious answers. Hannah Platt was recently nominated for best debut at the Leicester Comedy Festival and she’s hotly tipped for Fringe success this August.
