Ellie Taylor brings a new tour show to Lowry, Sean Morley headlines XS Malarkey and GRUB hosts a debut from Sarah Roberts.
According to the press release ‘the world’s youngest, smallest, most normal comedian is bringing her acclaimed debut show on tour to Manchester’, and if that isn’t a reason to go and see what Sarah Roberts has in store this Thursday, then we don’t know what is. Primarily known for her social media musings about moving back in with her parents and some hilarious fashion faux pas, Silkworm is the chance to see a true rising star at the beginning of their ascent.
Ellie Taylor is at the opposite end of that ascent and brings her latest show Palavering to Lowry this Sunday with only a handful of tickets remaining in the Lyric Theatre of Salford’s home of comedy. After stints on Strictly and turning heads on Ted Lasso, Taylor is back to what she does best, making people cry with laughter at the realities of modern life as a working mother of two who loves a good overshare.

A real treat at XS Malarkey this week as Sean Morley returns for the first time in a while to headline. Morley is a cult hero who’s spent the last few years in the Netherlands committing the occasional live stream to the ether but generally being noticeable only by his absence. Thankfully, he’s now back and shows zero signs of ring rust with his wonderfully absurd improvisational style. One of the smartest comics around, now that he’s back.
