Jamali Maddix is back at Fairfield Social Club to try out some new stuff, Freya Parker headlines XS Malarkey and Laughienda is back on a Thursday with its 4th birthday bonanza.
Jamali Maddix is back at Fairfield Social Club with a very intimate show as he works up material ahead of a huge tour next year. The Taskmaster and Vice TV star will be in the 50 seater Shed area of FSC and there are only a couple of tickets left so we suggest you get to it quickly.
Hard to believe Laughienda is only celebrating its fourth birthday this week, so ingrained in the city’s comedy landscape as it is. To celebrate this milestone they’ll be moving back to Thursday nights and welcoming a tremendous lineup headlined by Matt Richardson to Lions Den on Deansgate. To top it all it’s free to get in! Known primarily as one half of award-winning sketch duo Lazy Susan (or perhaps as the nervy tech from Jurassic World: Dominion), Freya Parker will be headlining proceedings at XS Malarkey for the first time this Tuesday. A cheeky ‘lil guy (her words), Parker has taken her irreverent sketch persona and taken it directly into her stand-up. Low-key yet big on laughs, sketch’s loss is most certainly stand-up’s gain.
