Joe Wells and Garrett Millerick bring their tour shows to Manchester and there’s a special headline set in store from Harry Stachini at The Laughienda.
After going viral in 2020 for his routine about his ‘severely non-autistic brother’, comedian Joe Wells inadvertently became an unelected autism spokesperson. As he is still figuring it out for himself he delves deeper into what it means to be autistic in an illuminating and hilarious study of what it is to be human. Wells is one of the most unique voices in the comedy world and this may well be his best show yet.
The ‘world’s angriest optimist’ is back and Garrett Millerick delivers another no holds barred sermon on what it is to live in the modern world. The frustrations he experiences are keenly felt and expertly formulated into routines that ring in your head long after you’ve left the gig. Millerick is that rare thing, a throwback with a modern voice. The last of the angry young men who still has hope we can turn things around.
