A real pick of the Manchester comedy scene this week as Lou Conran headlines XS Malarkey, Tom Lawrinson brings his new show to GRUB and Simon Lomas is one of the many names taking to Dulcimer for Lay Down Comedy.
Another of the city’s favourites, who’s found even more success across TikTok and Instagram with his bizarre and hilariously well-observed sketches, Lawrinson has added this extra show after the two he has coming up on Sunday sold out so quickly. There are only a couple of tickets left so make sure you grab them quickly if you want to witness one of Manchester’s crown comedy jewels.
If you missed out on tickets to Tom’s Sunday shows but still want your fix of weird and wonderful comedy then we highly recommend heading up to Lay Down Comedy at Dulcimer in Chorlton. Hosted by musical comedy MC Alex Camp and featuring a lovely lineup of Manchester’s best and brightest including Simon Lomas, Michael Mannion, Harry Chalmers-Morris and Marigold Lately.

One of the city’s most-loved comedians headlines the city’s favourite comedy club as Lou Conran tops the bill at XS Malarkey for a festive treat of a show. Conran’s blisteringly honest confessional comedy will bring plenty of Christmas cheer and there’s a great supporting lineup featuring Kevin Gildea, Sinead Walsh, Ava Liversedge, and of course MC Toby Hadoke.
