University of Salford takeover the Bruntwood Stage at Homeground this week with ‘Live At Last’ – five evenings of music, comedy and spoken word by the award-winning graduates from The School of Arts, Media and Creative Technology. From Monday 12 until Friday 16, head down to the free outdoor venue to catch performances from Louis Barnes and the Overthinkers, White Noise, Velvet Shakes and more. Taking place 5:30pm until 7:30pm Monday to Wednesday and 5pm until 7pm Thursday/Friday – you won’t need a ticket, but you can book a table for the Bruntwood Stage to guarantee your spot. We Are Manchester have kept us entertained these past months with their weekly livestreams showcasing musicians from home and away. This Sunday 18 July will be the 50th and last (at least, for now) stream and there’s plenty of talent on the bill. From 4pm you’ll find performances from Narrow Margin, Five Days North, The Lilacs, Feather Trade, Big Society and Man & Boy – with introductions by Clint Boon.
