Get yourselves to The Talleyrand this Sat 14 Jan as songwriter Pete Astor and support act Ani Borealis perform a very special gig. Astor is known for his work with The Loft and The Weather Prophets back in the 80s and later The Wisdom of Harry and Ellis Island Sound – plus a plethora of solo work over the years. Brighton’s Ani Borealis brings a stripped back version of their dreamy-folktronica debut album due for release this year.
Echo Chamber partner with Withington & Fallowfield Foodbank this Sat 14 Jan to help combat the rise in the cost of living. Taking place at Fuel, there will be sets from DiekaiDie, Zoen, Otala and Worm School with all proceeds of this show will be going straight to helping to fund these services. There will also be a place to donate food and sanitary products. Tickets are priced at a fiver with doors from 7pm.
Bloodstock’s Metal 2 the Masses campaign in Manchester hits Rebellion this Sun 15 Jan for Heat 1 of their competition. Participating bands for this event are The Island, Wrath of Man, Blacklist and Dekaytah. Every paying customer will be handed a token on arrival to vote for your favourite band.
