Legendary musician, post punk royalty and style icon, Brix Smith headlines the Pink Room at YES this Wed 24 May. Known for her time in Manchester’s The Fall, the American artist will play the Charles St venue as part of her Valley of the Dolls UK tour. Support comes from It Man. Doors from 7pm.

Neighbourhood Weekender returns to Warrington’s Victoria Park this week, with an impressive billing that includes none other than Britpop royalty, Pulp, who will be headlining the Sunday night in their hugely-anticipated live comeback. Topping the Saturday night will be Paul Heaton with special guest Rianne Downey, while the likes of Confidence Man, Self Esteem and Anne Marie also feature.
