Some of the city’s greatest talents come together this Sunday 1 August in a Concert For John. The all-dayer event taking place at O2 Ritz has been put together to celebrate Manchester legend John Hall and everything he’s done for the local scene. With the bill featuring Peter Hook & The Light, Cabbage, Liines, Goa Express, Loose Articles, Dirty Laces, Yellow Brain, Purple Heart Parade, Inland Taipan, Gardenback, Hey Bulldog, La Mode and more to be announced. Not to mention DJ sets from the likes of Dave Haslam, Jason Boardman and Jeff O’Toole – all profits will be donated to The John Hall stage; a new charity which John wishes to be set up that will support grassroots musicians and venues.
