South Yorkshire’s Mock Tudors hit the Castle Hotel this Wed 3 May. The latest project from musicians Tom Diffenthal, Ben Hall and Richard Birkin combine power-pop and a bombastic stage presence. They’ll be joined by synth pop legend Jim B Brown and duo Sydney Herds. Doors from 7.30pm.
Irish ballad group The Mary Wallopers headline Whitworth St venue the O2 Ritz this Fri 5 May. Formed by brothers Charles and Andrew Hendy along with friend Sean McKenna – the group has now expanded to a seven-piece and will be joined by Dublin’s Gurriers on support.
