RADD! Events presents YNES headlining The Castle on Wednesday 21 July. Bringing their DIY ‘Britpop-punk’ sound to the much-loved Northern Quarter venue – there will be support from Distant Blue, Tom Taylor & The Human Bodies and Lissy May.
Sabotage MCR bring us their first headline show back in over a year and a half with Deja Vega at YES. From 8pm on Wednesday 21 July, head down to the Basement room where there’ll be support from Moby Dickless and Pray For Mojo! Tickets are £11 (including booking fee).
In their debut live performance Peacock Method headline Night & Day this Friday 23 July. Joined by special guests REAVE, yawn and D. We Are Manchester go live and in-person this Saturday 24 July with their musical showcase at intimate venue Aatma. Due to perform are The DDE’s, Little Illusion Machine and Sour Punch. It all kicks off from 7:30pm with tickets priced at just £8.90.
Red Balloon Music return for their (belated) 9th birthday with an extended celebration at Gullivers in the Northern Quarter. This Sunday 25 July we’re treated to seven acts including Megan Dixon Hood, Ella Cicely, Toria Wooff, Audrey’s Dance, David Gorman, Carl North, and Bella Beney kicking off from 3pm. NQ Jazz welcome young composer, lyricist and performer Ella Hohnen-Ford to The Yard this Monday 19 July. Joined by her group the TreeClimbers, the ensemble includes vibraphonist Jonny Mansfield, double bassist Will Sach, guitarist Tom Ollendorf and drummer Boz Martin-Jones with Hohnen-Ford on vocals.
