Northern Quarter venue SOUP and Belgium label Stroom present a very special gig this Tue 6 Sep from 7.30pm. Headliner Dali Muru & the Polyphonic Swarm (formerly known as FITH) combine troubadour poetics, cinematic soundtrack and primordial electronics. This Thu 8 Sep coloured-in goth duo DRAG take the stage at 33 Oldham St. A collaboration between Geordie-born/Bristol-based anti-art artist Amy Crozier and Exmoor-based songwriter and producer Leo Braukmann-Pugsley – the pair blend hooky synth-pop with contemporary themes. Support will come from Ideal Husband, Lewis James and HUP. Doors from 7.30pm.

REPEATER is Alphaville’s first in a series of all-dayers bringing new, weird and wonderful music to Manchester. Taking place at Withington’s Withy Public Hall this Sat 10 Sep – the bill features performances from LoneLady, Spectres, Splint, Yossari-Baby, Threads plus some special guest DJs.
