Hotter temps and longer nights, we’re more than ready for the spring months and a packed few weeks of stellar club nights. Here are some of the best coming up across Manchester.

Madam X, Riz La Teef | Gorilla | Sat 8 April | £11.50

Manchester-grown Madam X is now a Radio 1 resident, bringing her iconic blend of all things dark to the BBC. She headlines a collab party between Bombard Groove and Locked In, who’ve also invited South London’s Riz La Teef. Support comes from BG resident, Vice City Soundtrack and Manchester’s DJ Præda.

Tarzsa | YES | Sat 15 Apr | £6

On the rise homegrown talent, Tarzsa hits the YES basement for a headline set. Her feel-good sets of soulful garage, house, broken-beat and more have seen her quickly rise up the bills at festivals and clubs, with sets at Warehouse Project, Gala, Maiden Voyage in 2022. Support is TBA.

Courtesy, Marie Montexier and Airbnd | The White Hotel | Fri 28 Apr | £15

By our accounts Danish mainstay, Courtesy last played the White Hotel in 2019, so this return is much overdue. After doubling down in lockdown with a string of killer debut releases, Courtesy has cemented herself as one of Europe’s most revered artists – her DJ sets had long been impressing heads and party-seeking punters alike, with seriousness and euphoria both present in equal measure. Support comes from German selector Marie Montexier and Eat Paint resident, Airbnd.

L, R & C celebrate 5 years of parties with a special 2-room affair at Soup which sees the back room – usually reserved as a green room – fully rigged out and hosting some of Manchester’s finest DJs. The main room will be the domain of Fever AM producer, Rhyw, who’ll be playing all night long, hot off the back of his Dekmantel mix.

Blues Kitchen continue to up their game with another stellar booking in the shape of Romare, who released his 4th album, Fantasy to critical acclaim back in November. He’s joined by Rhythm Section bubbler, Hidden Spheres, who’s quickly becoming one of their finest exports. Close out your bank holiday with a night of effervescent house from a highly talented pair.
