To celebrate his 39th birthday Frank Turner is joined by The Sleeping Souls (including a new member) for a real Christmas knees-up this Monday 28 December. The world-famous Edinburgh Hogmanay moves entirely online for the first time this year in true 2020 style. From Tuesday 29 December through to Friday 1 January – there will be a series of free-to-view online content streamed each evening (from 7pm) on the official website. Due to be hosted and narrated by an array of Scottish talent – including renowned actor David Tennant among others – and feature music from Celtic fusion band Niteworks, Scot’s Makar (Scotland’s Poet Laureate) Jackie Kay has penned a piece entitled ‘Fare Well’ which lends its name to the events as we reflect on world events this year and look forward to 2021.
