With the very welcome return of live music firmly back in full flow, the Albert Hall’s gig calendar continues to fill up very nicely.
Autumn is always a busy period in terms of tour announcements, and with that being said, we’ve picked out a few highlights that are on sale this week.
A fusion of post-rock, klezmer, post-punk, jazz and art-pop, the seven-piece have been declared “Britain’s best new band” by Mojo; with the Quietus going one further and suggesting “the entire world”.
The band’s debut album, For the first time, was also shortlisted for the 2021 Mercury Prize.

Los Angeles outfit Warpaint will bring their genre-bending, dreamy psych rock to the fittingly moody setting of the Albert Hall next spring.

London Britpop four-piece Sleeper will celebrate the anniversary of the group’s most successful record, The It Girl, by playing the album in full next April.
Support will come from recent collaborators, and local favourites, The Lottery Winners.

Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Goldbergs star, Jeff Garlin, has announced his first UK stand up tour since 2017.
Garlin will take his ‘No Device Connected’ tour around the UK next summer, stopping off in Manchester on Sun 19 Jun.

Over the last fifteen years, Welsh musician and producer Cate Le Bon has toured with and worked alongside the likes of John Grant, Gruff Rhys, St Vincent, Perfume Genius, Tim Presley and many more.
Le Bon’s second album, Pompeii, the much anticipated follow-up to her 2019 critically acclaimed record, Reward, was announced just a few days back, so expect a helping of new tunes along with old favourites.
