Diaries at the ready – we’ve rounded up the very best club nights and events happening at Gorilla over the next few weeks….
This edition of the ever-excellent Groove Lab comes with the very special guests of Sonja Moonear (Ruta5/Perlon) and Z@p (Phonotheque/My Own Jupiter). Moonear is a Swiss DJ who cut her teeth at Geneva’s legendary Weetamix club, while Z@p’s house and techno sets are always great fun. Both take the decks for 2 and a half hours, and the pre-party starts at Gorilla from 9pm.
Norwegian dance music legend Todd Terje comes to Gorilla for one of the biggest nights in April. Local legend Moonboots (Aficionado) joins Terje on the bill. Not one to miss.
Gilles Peterson graces Gorilla with a rare four-hour set this April, joined by MC General Rubbish. Expect a masterclass unconfined by genre — across house, soul, hip-hop, and all strands of avant brilliance. Get down to the pre-party with SNO, too, which kicks off in the Gorilla bar from 8pm.
I Love Acid returns to Gorilla after two sell-out parties, this time they are bringing Acid House wrong’uns Paranoid London plus a hardware modular acid live show from Kompakt’s REX THE DOG.
Known for his such as 1999’s Make a Move on Me, revered house music producer and Z Records boss Joey Negro (a.k.a. Dave Lee) brings his disco-tinged classics to the decks.
Gorilla welcomes Cristoph for an all-night-long set in late April. The Newcastle-born producer has had releases on Pryda Presents, Bedrock, and Last Night on Earth, among others, and is lauded for his progressive house sets which he takes around the world.

Huddersfield-born DJ Q brings his garage and grime set to Gorilla. Long-established DJ on BBC Radio 1Xtra, DJ Q’s career took off with his masterful hit U Wot, and he’s known for his excellent remixes and records, such as 2018’s All Night.
