Lena Willikens & upsammy, aNNA, Conor Thomas | The White Hotel | Fri 9 Dec | £10

German DJ and producer, Lena Willikens is now regarded as one of the wonkiest and weirdest yet truly accessible selectors around. She goes b2b at Salford’s finest former garage with Dutch extraordinaire, upsammy who brings a more traditional aesthetic of electro, techno and IDM, although still experimental in its genesis. They’re joined by All Hands on Deck’s aNNA and The Death of Rave honcho, Conor Thomas.

Dickinson Street, M3 7LW
Pete Rock | The Blues Kitchen | Weds 14 Dec | £22.50

There are plenty of DJ/Producer/MCs that are synonymous with hip-hop, but perhaps none more so than NYC’s, Pete Rock. He’s worked with everyone from Wu Tang Clan to Public Enemy, Busta Rhymes and Nas and that’s before you mention that his tracks alongside C.L Smooth. This DJ set will see him no doubt celebrate his prolific career in style.
