Featuring Afrobeat-highlife fusions, multitalented Mancunians and a devilish drag show, Albert Hall’s peerlessly eclectic upcoming events programme promises yet another series of incredible performances for music lovers of all genres.
On Sat 16 Sep, Montreal indie rockers Half Moon Run perform at Albert Hall as part of a mammoth international tour. Alongside a selection of past hits including Full Circle, Grow Into Love and You Can Let Go, the band is set to play music from their forthcoming album, 1969 – a collection of Dylan-inflected original folk songs soaring with strings and harmonica melodies.
In celebration of his latest album, Everything’s Fine, Aussie singer-songwriter Matt Corby hits the Albert Hall stage with a setlist of fan favourites and fresh releases on Sun 17 Sep.
Known around the world for a slate of entrancing hits including September Song and a euphoric vocal turn on Jonas Blue’s lilting summer hit Perfect Strangers, hometown hero JP Cooper brings his heady, stirring blend of soulful pop, gospel and R&B to Manchester on Sun 24 Sep.
