From pace-setting international rock stars and mercurial, genre-blending songwriters to stirring neo-soul and even self-actualising manifestation techniques, Manchester’s Albert Hall presents yet another wildly eclectic programme of live performances to the city across the final weeks of summer.
The following night, emerging talent Jessie Murph brings her unique blend of poignant country storytelling, hip-hop-infused production and coruscating experimental soundscapes to Albert Hall as part of her Across the Pond Tour.
Drawing on her experiences of domestic dysfunction, high school bullying, mental health and insidious music industry misogyny, the prodigious 18-year-old Alabaman bares all across her achingly honest and lyrically mature catalogue, having built an enormous social media fandom since her arrival on the scene in 2020.
Known around the world as ‘The Queen of Manifesting’, spiritual self-help guru Roxie Fanousi promises an uplifting, lighthearted evening of inspiration and empowerment as she guides the audience through her vaunted 7-step process to inner liberation and realising one’s ultimate potential.
Alongside a fascinating deep dive into her process of personal elevation, Fanousi hosts an enriching meditation session before a profoundly insightful live Q&A.
Ahead of the release of his fifth studio album The Loop this May, renowned neo-soul prodigy Jordan Rakei plays Albert Hall following a meteoric rise to cult status as one of the most innovative, fresh musicians of the last decade.
On Sun 29 Sep, smash-hit rock cellists Apocalypta reignite the fire of their legendary debut album with a follow-up tour which returns to their roots, covering Metallica’s greatest hits with a captivating classical twist and rounding off a whirlwind story that began in 1996.
Founding band-leader Eicca Toppinen comments: “It’s incredible to think that after all these years our tribute to Metallica still speaks so powerfully to people. To be able share our love for Metallica’s music with the live audience is an absolutely magical experience. This time the show is going to be next level, and we can’t wait to get back out there and share the fun with our fans!”
