High Hoops Pride Weekender is a massive three event bender to say the least – they’re going all day at Progress Centre on Saturday with Midland, then onto White Hotel for the night with Northern Irish and Berlin based DJ/Producer, Or:la, known for her blistering sets of all things dark and mysterious. If you’ve still got the energy for it they’re back at White Hotel to close out the weekend on Sunday night with CCL, Dan Beaumont and Sayang.
During a self-imposed break from touring, Canadian producer and live act Marie Davidson formed L’Oeil Nu, a trio consisting of her husband Asaël Robitaille and former collaborator Pierre Geurineau. They head out on a tour of Canada and Europe, hitting Manchester’s YES this November.
