Joe Kent-Walters brings his alter ego to XS Malarkey, Kathy Maniura is at Fairfield Social Club, and the Muslims are Coming to The Frog.
Quite the week for grotesque character comics as Kathy Maniura brings her Edinburgh hit, Soho Theatre show, The Cycling Man, to Manchester for the first time. A pinpoint accurate take down of overly confident white blokes in their 50s clad tight in lycra, whether you like it or not, Maniura’s satire is so good in its cringe-inducing splendour that you can’t look away even when you feel you must.
A fantastic lineup of comedians to dazzle you on Sunday night as Nabil Abdulrashid, Tez Ilyas, Faizan Shah and Muhsin Yesilada take over the Frog for The Muslims are Coming. Expect some of the best stand-ups in the game in what promises to be an uplifting night of laughter.

After smashing his way through a tour of Australia, Joe Kent-Walters is back in Manchester, and he’s bringing his Rotherham working men’s club owner/demon Frankie Monroe with him. There are few comics more devilishly joyous to watch than Joe when Frankie is in full control of a room, and watching him try out some new stuff at XS will be a dream.
