With the Manchester Food & Drink Festival in full swing, it’ll be no surprise if thought has turned to what deals you can get your hands on throughout October and we have very much got your covered. Whether it’s a free pastry at a hip new coffee shop or unlimited wine at an old favourite – or some fancier wine tastings at Hatch – there’s plenty to get on with whilst watching the pennies. See below for our top offers this month…

Free Pastries at Seed & Cherry | Mon - Fri

For your early morning food deals, look no further than Church Street’s new coffee shop. Seed & Cherry, the coffee bean specialists, are offering a free pastry with any coffee until 10.30am during the Mon-Fri each week. With a variety of options including danishes and croissants to go alongside your flat white it might just get you through rain sodden mornings.

TNQ Unlimited Wine | Mon & Thur

This is a classic any month of the year but it seems to make most sense as the nights draw in. On Happy Monday or Thirsty Thursday diners can treat themselves to 3 courses plus unlimited wine for just £29.95. There’s a two hour time limit but that seems fair enough for under £30, and with a menu including treacle-cured salmon for starters and roast Goosnargh chicken, it’s a perfect midweek pick-me-up.

£5 Wine Tasting At Hatch | Tue 8 Oct | 5pm | £5

Hatch’s wine experts at Vin-Yard are bringing a taste of Georgia to the boxpark next week. Wines of Georgia (this is the country not the state) are launching a two month long festival in the UK over October and November and Vin-Yard will be hosting their exclusive Manchester tasting. For just £5, wine fans will be able to enjoy 40 different Georgian wines of varying styles, and be talked through them by Sarah Abbot and with light bites provided by Mezze Street Food.
