Channelling the American and Canadian breakfast culture, Moose Coffee’s legendary house pancakes are made fresh to order. Dusted with icing sugar and coming complete with Canadian maple syrup and butter, hungry visitors can choose between their classic toppings (blueberries, chocolate and hazelnut spread, smoked streaky bacon) or upgrade to a pancake stack.
Located within the Manchester Craft & Design Centre, Oak Street Cafe serve their own USA inspired pancakes with non-gluten ingredients. Choose from classic crispy smoked bacon or blueberry compote for the perfect Pancake Day treat.
Peru Perdu is celebrating Pancake Day 2020 with a Peruvian twist. Their Pisco and Pancakes offer includes the restaurants signature cocktail, Pisco Sours, with dulce de leche pancakes all for just £10. Bargain!
Specifically for Tuesday 25 February, Albert Schloss have added two indulgent sweet and savory pancake concoctions to their menu. The best part? By using the ‘Push for Pancakes’ button located on the venue’s booths and seats, you can get them delivered straight to your table.
Over at Wilson Social in the Northern Quarter, hungry visitors can treat themselves to all-you-can eat pancakes starting at just £4, with every additional two pancakes setting you back just £1. When it comes to toppings, these guys aren’t messing around with their blueberry compote and frosting or popcorn chicken and bacon, drizzled in maple syrup. The offer is available from breakfast until close on Tuesday February 25.
If you’re after a slightly different take on the typical Shrove Tuesday offering, get yourself to Bundobust. This popular Indian street food spot has whipped up a light dosa pancake made from rice flour and free from gluten. They’ll have two toppings available, one flavoured with mango and one with rose, each topped with a traditional hung sweetened yoghurt with cardamom and garnished with mango ras, pistachio and fresh pomegranate.
Manchester’s sleek new food, drink and workspace Cultureplex is celebrating Pancake Day 2020 by serving up stacks of the fluffy good stuff for just £5, including any topping you like.
