From chewy crusts to sumptuous slices, Manchester’s pizza scene has something to tickle any kind of taste bud. What’s more, with the new Eat Out To Help Out initiative, customers can save a stone baked over-load when they dine out on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August. With that in mind, here’s a few Manchester pizza restaurants that are currently offering up to £10 off per person this August…

Rudy's Ancoats

It didn’t take long for Rudy’s delicious Neapolitan-style pizzas to get a nod in the Where To Eat Pizzas world guide book – and for good reason. Their thin, Italian-style dishes are stone baked to perfection in their cosy, neighbourhood pizzeria and topped with a variety of fresh ingredients like creamy buffalo mozzarella and spicy nduja sausage. You may have to wait a little to bag a table at this ever-popular spot – but it’ll be worth it, especially with this nifty savings.

Noi Quattro

Run by the same folks behind The Pasta Factory, Noi Quattro serves up Naples-style pizza pies with light and fluffy bases from their Northern Quarter restaurant on High Street. Their bright and airy space and knowledgeable staff (the place is run by four Italian friends, with Noi Quattro translating to ‘the four of us’) provide an authentic European experience, and their bold flavours and punchy toppings (the Avazzanese boasts roast potatoes and rosemary) make this a great place to visit this August.

Ciaooo Pizzeria

Made with the finest ingredients sourced directly from Napoli, Ciaooo is a hidden-gem pizzeria located at the back of the Northern Quarter. You’ll find it opposite the Mackie Mayor and once inside, you’ll be able to enjoy a range of tomato and white based pizzas, meaty and veggie calzones, a selection of light starters and a kids’ menu that’ll keep the little ones smiling. What’s not to like?

62-64 Swan Street, Manchester, M4 5JU, Tel: 0161 832 8219
Ply

Popular pizza house Ply sits directly in the beating heart of the Northern Quarter on the corner of Stevenson Square. It boasts a range of stone-baked sourdough pizzas – each Neapolitan style and each topped with a delicious array of fresh ingredients like goat cheese, chorizo and squash and an ever-changing salami of the week. They’ve also got an impressive array of craft beers and ales on tap, too.

Voodoo Ray's

One of the newest pizza spots in Manchester, Voodoo Ray’s at street food and drink venue Escape To Freight Island serves up giant, New York-style slices and mammoth 22-inch pizzas for those with big appetites to fill. The Full Moon features bacon dust, Japanese mayo and vine tomatoes – while a mixture of artichoke hearts and green olives makes the Queen Vegan the ideal slice for free-from fans. All this in one of the city’s coolest new areas – that’s dinner sorted!
