Set within 300 acres of sprawling Cheshire countryside, The Farm Club offers unrivalled facilities in a ludicrously serene environment, with 400m and 750m loops open to swimmers in a controlled environment – no tides, no currents, and the reassuring presence of a safety kayak. Salford Watersports’ urbane Cold Water Swimming sessions run between Apr – Oct, and feature 300m and 500m lap courses around Dock 8 for confident first-timers and seasoned professionals alike. Along with the open sessions, various open-water coaching is available.
Swim Pennington is a NOWCA-registered open water swim venue operating from Leigh & Lowton Sailing Club. Swims take place in a 70-hectare lake within Pennington Flash Nature Reserve, and sessions run every Saturday morning throughout the year, with evening sessions available from late April to the end of September.

Suitable for experienced adult swimmers aged 16+, Debdale Outdoor Centre offers a safe, supported environment to improve fitness, endurance and confidence via open water swimming.
Open water swimming is available during designated one-hour slots only, with sessions running Tuesdays, 5pm – 8pm, Thursdays, 5pm – 8pm and Sundays, 10am – 12pm.
