With Pancake Day just around the corner, we’ve gathered together some of the best places in and around Manchester that’ll be serving up stack after delicious stack.

If we’re talking dessert veterans in the city, few are better versed than the folks at Home Sweet Home. Complete with caramelised banana, salted caramel nutella, chopped hazelnuts and whippy cream, their House Stack is all the indulgence you could possibly need.

Hampton & Vouis

Among Hampton & Vois’ impressive dessert offerings is a Biscoff and Bueno Stack—if that isn’t enough to hook you in, then we’re not sure what will. Their coffee isn’t half bad either.

Lazy Sundae

Lazy Sundae is the perfect spot if you’re after something a little different. Their soufflé-style pancakes have become one of their menu highlights since opening a couple of years back. A popular dish in Japan, soufflé pancakes are a light and fluffy variation of the traditional treats, and come stacked with all kinds of delights like biscoff and brown sugar brulée.

Koffee Pot

Want something a bit more savoury? Something that you can pass for breakfast? Manchester’s favourite hangover spot, The Koffee Pot, will be slinging their all-American pancakes piled high with sausage, hash brown, smokey bacon, fried egg and maple syrup.

Moose Coffee

Moose Coffee have built themselves around great American breakfast culture, so it’s probably safe to assume they know what they’re doing. They’ve got three incredible sounding stacks on their menu; Apple and Homemade Salted Caramel, Granola and Chocolate Peanut Butter and finally, Banana and Pecan.

20 York St, Manchester M2 2BB
Richmond Tea Rooms

If you like your dining setting with a little more eccentricity, Canal Street’s Richmond Tea Rooms’ Wonderland-inspired interior ticks all the boxes, serving up both sweet and savoury options, along with a vegan-friendly pancakes too.

NAM

Ancoats’ Vietnamese hotspot, NAM, are getting in on the festivities, adding pancakes to their offering for one day only. Guests will be able to choose between Vegan Pandan Pancakes with fresh fruit and syrup or Vietnamese Savoury Crepes with a choice of pork and prawn, chicken, or tofu filling

Ducie Street

Fresh from their new all-day brunch menu, Ducie Street will be offering half-price stacks right throughout Pancake Day. Head down and fill your boots.

Ducie St, Manchester M1 2TP
Haute Dolci

Haute Dolci are known for slinging frankly ridiculous pancake creations all year round, so naturally Shrove Tuesday is a big deal down there. Whether you opt for the classic lemon and sugar combination, or push the boat out with the white chocolate, raspberries and coconut gelato—there’s plenty to get stuck into.
