The clues in the name with Northern Quarter haunt Terrace. Their rooftop bar is the perfect city-centre spot to enjoy a beer or five in the afternoon sunshine. Opening up shop again from Saturday 4 July, this red-brick bar offers a range of locally sourced craft beers and ales on tap – and its Northern Quarter location makes it an ideal venue for after-work drinks.

Re-opening on Saturday 4 July, popular Charles Street food, drink and nightlife venue Yes will once again be welcoming visitors to its top-floor roof garden bar. While their team put the final touches on plans for a brand new weatherproof beer garden located in the railway arches behind the space, customers can head upstairs to enjoy craft beers, wines and cocktails on tap in their leafy rooftop garden which gets a healthy dose of summer sun.
