Manchester alt-pop group Hi Sienna have announced a headline show at Northern Quarter venue Gullivers on Friday 30 July. With popular singles like Lovesick, Car and Favourite Thing – Poppy Jo, Ste, Si and Charlie will be bringing their mix of shimmering guitars and husky vocals to this intimate gig. Document | Night & Day Cafe | Fri 6 Aug | 7pm | £7 (+bf)

Post-punk band Document will headline the Night & Day stage on Friday 6 August. Having toured the Manchester venue circuit throughout 2019 and releasing EP A Camera Wanders All Night last year – the band have established themselves as part of the city’s modern punk revival. With new music promised soon, this headline show is not to be missed. Support will come from 90s grunge meets folklore Wych Elm and Hull 4-piece Autosuggestion. International Teachers of Pop | YES | Sat 28 Aug | 7pm | £12.50 (+bf)

International Teachers of Pop will headline the Pink Room at YES on Saturday 28 August. Formed when Adrian Flanagan and Dean Honer (Moonlandingz) met Soundcarriers/Whyte Horses’ vocalist Leonore Wheatley – the electro-trio released their self-titled debut album in 2019 followed by 2020’s Pop Gossip.
