In the run-up to Christmas, there’s festive cheer aplenty over at Chorlton’s Dulcimer. Here, we take you through five exciting — and entirely gratis — music events taking place this week.
Last chance before Christmas to take part in Chorlton’s most established Open Mic Night. With an always supportive crowd, this is a great opportunity to try out some new originals or indulge in a Christmas classic.
Following the Open Mic night, get down to Pat the Butcher’s selections of funk, soul and reggae.
This Friday night at Dulcimer is soundtracked by DJ Guy ’Tightass’ Connor, known for his extensive record collection of rock, blues, soul and funk. A perfect start to the weekend!
To cap off the final Saturday before Chrimbo, DJ Dunc takes us on an odyssey through post-punk, new wave, pop and alternative 80s bangers. Expect some classy Christmas numbers thrown in for festive measure. Kick off at 9pm! Pip pip!
