The Buxton area has a 2000-year history as a spa destination. This magnificent hotel was built in the Georgian Era, so the nobility could ‘take the waters’ at the local mineral spring. After a major refurbishment lasting several years, the hotel reopened in late 2020 under the Ensana brand.
