With the kids settling into the summer holidays a little earlier than usual, parents might find themselves struggling to find things to keep them happy over the coming weeks. Don’t worry though – we’ve scoured Netflix to cherry pick a few kid-friendly cartoon shows that are guaranteed to keep the little ones happy for a few hours each day. Enjoy!

Spongebob Squarepants

Head to Bikini Bottom to spend some quality time with everyone’s favourite porous pal, Spongebob Squarepants. In addition to having big screen adventure The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water, Netflix also has three full series of the popular Nickelodeon show to enjoy, allowing kids to get lost in the adventures of Spongebob, his pet snail Gary and best friend Patrick Star.

Peppa Pig

Learning and laughter combine in the colourful adventures of Peppa Pig and her loveable family and friends. As one of the most popular children’s television shows of all time, you won’t go far wrong by hitting play on this firm favourite. Netflix has five series’ worth of educational and entertaining episodes for children to enjoy. Who knows? You might find yourself getting sucked in too.

Paw Patrol

Younger kids will find lots to like in Paw Patrol,  the show that follows six brave puppies captained by their plucky, tech-savvy 10 year old leader. Here, kids will learn problem solving skills whilst being entertained with a heady dose of humour throughout Netflix’s three series collection.

Teen Titans Go!

Big kids who find a little too much to like in the superhero epics of the big screen will no doubt find themselves drawn into the vibrant kids’ series Teen Titans Go! The show sees superhero roommates Robin, Raven, Beast Boy, Starfire and Cyborg do battle with a number of foes who threaten their hometown of Jump City. Head to Netflix and you can enjoy four full series of crime-fighting goodness.

Pokémon

Netflix has a number of must-see options for the Pokémon lover in your household. In addition to the original anime series, the streaming platform also features sequel series Pokémon Indigo League, Pokémon Sun & Moon and a number of big screen adaptations including Pokémon: The Movie I Choose You and 2020’s new one Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes BackYou’re spoiled for choice!
